Primary Objective:  Responsible for processes that result in accurate and timely financials along with managing IAS’ accounts receivable risk.

Areas of Accountability:

The following duties are typical for this job.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive.

Preparation of financial statements, analysis and reports to include journal entries, account analysis, variance analysis, and make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures.
Lead financial audits on areas of responsibility.
Maintain book and tax fixed asset records including leading the capital budget process and monthly spending, reporting and analysis.
Coordinate more complex accounting, systems, and operational projects and initiatives within the accounting and IT team and other business units.
Manage IAS accounts receivable risk directly and through A/R specialist, location and business units’ staff.  This includes ownership of credit applications, evaluating potential customers creditworthiness, overseeing maintenance of detailed customer records, follow-up and decision-making on past due accounts.
Oversee customer invoicing for accuracy, completeness and identification of training needs including credit memo review.
Resource for customer billing support and training for locations.
Responsible for new memberships, patronage, equity payouts and other related processes.
Accept additional responsibilities and duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

BA in Accounting with 5-7 years’ experience.  Industry experience a plus.
Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset who displays a high level of effort and commitment towards completing responsibilities under pressure and meeting a constant stream of deadlines.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate information or ideas effectively in written or oral form.
Ability to multitask with excellent judgment, problem solving and research skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Excel and Word
Physical Requirements/Environment Adaptability:

Requires static strength to lift, push, pull, or, on occasion, carry objects up to 50 pounds.  Also, flexibility to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs.  Some tasks involve repetitive motion.
