Big Milestone for DCED

Delaware County Economic Development Awarded $20,000 Grant to Launch County-Wide Marketing Campaign.

Delaware County Economic Development (DCED) is proud to announce the receipt of a $20,000 grant from the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County. This significant award is a vital investment in the long-term prosperity of our region and supports a project designed to benefit all corners of the county.

The Foundation’s requirement was clear: fund initiatives that offer broad, county-wide impact. With this in mind, DCED chose to invest in something essential to our continued growth—our story. Specifically, how we tell it, who we tell it to, and how we invite others to be a part of it.

Our project will focus on developing a comprehensive marketing campaign built around a central theme: “Build a Life Here.” Whether it’s launching a business, raising a family, or finding community, Delaware County has the resources and quality of life people are looking for—and this campaign will make sure that story is told loud and clear.

The marketing campaign will include:

• A refreshed, modern website that better showcases the county’s assets and opportunities

• A strategic target marketing plan aimed at reaching prospective residents, businesses, and investors

• Collaborative efforts with local organizations dedicated to progress and growth, ensuring the campaign reflects and amplifies the best of what Delaware County has to offer

We are deeply grateful to the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County for recognizing the potential of this initiative. Their support allows us to amplify the momentum already building in our communities and strategically attract new people, ideas, and investment to the area.
