Far-sighted community leaders focus on the future and the tremendous potential our town holds for growth and development. Monthly “Think Tank” and “Business After Five” meetings are lively, well attended forums for the exchange of ideas and solutions to the challenges and projects the community undertakes.

Our bustling downtown and the community at large house over ninety businesses. United in an active Chamber of Commerce, these businesses pull together to support and promote the community they serve. From the patronage of our local Boy Scout troop, to spearheading community economic development efforts, to organizing and presenting our popular “Rodeo Days” celebration, our business community knows how to make things happen!

Community Members know how to make things happen too. The Community Daycare and Preschool, Woods Edge Golf Course and Housing Development, the new library-community center, updated medical services and the new school buildings are examples that point to a community determined to offer the best!
